Giudei House Bologna

We were in studio 2, and sound carried almost completely between it and studio 1. A doorway had been blocked with foam boards, but we could hear everything from the other studio. It felt creepy, like four of us were sharing one room instead of two. Our bed sheet wasn’t clean. We had to insist before they came to change it, which they eventually did. We gave up our last evening in Bologna at Giudei and stayed at another B&B instead. We won’t return.

There were nine of us across two apartments, one for five people and one for four. Both were ready by noon and very clean. The hostess was always available and did a great job answering our questions. We really appreciated how she looked after us. The central Bologna location made getting around very convenient, and luggage storage was available if needed. It was a wonderful stay, thank you!

For four adult women, the roughly 20-square-meter studio felt disappointing. We rented it for one night, and the double bed had a mattress that seemed to date from the early 1900s. The sofa bed looked like my husband’s army camp bed. The location and the option to store our luggage the next day were the only things that made the price feel worthwhile. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Quiet, renovated studio with four beds, right in the city center. Paid parking is available, which suits people with easy-to-roll luggage.
