The room was quiet and comfortable, and there’s a market and cafe nearby. You can walk into the center of Bologna from this spot. The hotel felt in keeping with Bologna’s quiet atmosphere, and I’d recommend staying here. Just keep in mind that reception is reachable only during certain hours. Thumbs up!

The spacious rooms were the only redeeming part of our stay. We planned to stay three nights but, after the problems and what felt like a “too bad” attitude, asked to shorten it to two. They agreed, which was the only nice thing. When I raised the bathroom problems again and asked if they’d offer some gesture for a bathroom that hadn’t worked properly for a whole day, they said letting us change the booking from three nights to two was enough. At check-in, the sink wouldn’t drain, so we couldn’t use it. We went the full 24 hours without a working sink. The toilet seat was loose too; we reported that on arrival, but it was never fixed. The place has rooms on the third floor and no lift, with lots of steep stairs. Heavy luggage is a real pain to carry up. We also found out before arriving that parking seemed to require an ultra-small car. Our small SUV didn’t fit, so we parked half a mile away. That part wasn’t a big deal to me. I was very disappointed with the lack of response. I’d suggest looking elsewhere, or be ready to wait if anything goes wrong. This was easily the most disappointing part of our three-week Italian vacation.

The entrance is stunning, like walking into a palace, and the photos really do show what it’s like. We had a lovely courtyard view and could hear birds chirping the whole time. The room itself was beautiful and comfortable, with nice toiletries and bathrobes. Restaurants are nearby, and the main sights are an easy walk away. I’d happily stay again.

We were happy with how spacious the room was, much bigger than we expected. It had a kitchenette and coffee station, so making our own coffee and breakfast saved us quite a bit. There was also a large TV and desk, a very comfortable bed, and a roomy bathroom with lots of soaps to choose from. We could explore Bologna on foot from Gregorini Bingham - Art Luxury Suites, which is close to Piazza Maggiore and the Due Torri, and within walking distance of the major sights. The train station was easy to reach too. Staff were friendly and glad to answer questions or help with anything we needed. My partner and I had a brilliant stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for somewhere good in Bologna.
