The room was lovely and housekeeping kept it spotless. Reception were warm and had loads of good restaurant tips, including places nearby where we could eat authentic food and skip the touristy spots. The historic centre location made it easy to walk everywhere. I usually keep my favourite places to myself so they don't get crowded, but this one deserves all the business it gets. I'd happily come back and recommend it.

Breakfast had eggs, waffles and pancakes made to order, which I liked. The room and bathroom were both roomy and comfortable, though we wished our room had faced the street. At reception, a staff member made us feel welcome right away, gave us a map and walked us through the main places to see. Most major sights are an easy walk from the central location. We had a comfortable, pleasant stay and would consider returning to Bologna.

The location was fantastic, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was spotless, quiet and comfortable, with good air conditioning and amenities. The staff were polished and professional, and breakfast was delicious. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Bologna.

Our stay at Hotel Corona D’Oro was memorable for the comfort, atmosphere, location and kind staff. Cristiano, the manager at reception, was especially helpful and treated us with real courtesy. Even the bathroom was lovely, with towel warmers in ours. We highly recommend the hotel.

Antonio's restaurant suggestions were spot on, and his knowledge of Bologna helped us get our bearings from the first day and plan the whole trip. The rest of the staff gave incredible service too. The hotel is right in the old town, a hard-to-beat spot if it's your first Bologna visit. Our room was a little small, but the bed was so comfortable that we didn't mind, and the hotel is beautiful. We'd absolutely stay again.
