Hotel Holiday

The room was small and basic, but functional, and the beds were good. The location is quite nice. Receptionists were excellent, apart from the male receptionist with glasses on the morning shift. He seemed too busy to listen or understand, which could make him come across as arrogant and off-putting. Breakfast was more than adequate, but there’s a rush hour, so plan your schedule around it. The cleaning and breakfast staff were quite good.

A good affordable choice for a short weekend in Bologna. It’s basic but has what you need, with helpful staff. The central location makes it easy to walk to all the main sights in the city centre.

The location was excellent for strolling around to see the sights, or finding coffee or dinner. We stayed four nights, and the staff were very helpful and kind. Our recently updated room was really nice, though cramped, which was the one downside.

We arrived before check-in time, and they offered to hold our luggage until the room was ready. The staff were very positive and spoke English really well. My room was warm, and the included breakfast was fresh and enough. I recommend the place.
