The owner is kind and replies quickly. The room was clean, though the toilets could have been cleaner. It's a bit far from the train station, but luckily there's a bus stop nearby. We really enjoyed our stay, and I'd recommend it for a visit of 1-2 days.

We stayed for 3 days, and the hotel is very close to the airport. A taxi costs 17 EUR. The rooms are clean and I really have nothing to complain about. Check-in and check-out are fully automated, which is especially useful if you arrive late at night. Bus stops for the city centre are nearby. One small improvement would be brighter, newer curtains. The ones in the room are dark and give it an old-fashioned feel. Apart from that, I highly recommend staying at Marco Polo hotel.

There’s a supermarket about five minutes away by car, and Morini car rental is right next door. The airport is also close, around five minutes away, though my taxi cost 16 euros. The rooms are compact, with no kettle. Slippers are provided, but I think they’re needed in winter. The reception closes by 6 pm, so leave your mobile number when booking or you won’t get the hotel access code and room keys. Breakfast isn’t included. A cappuccino and croissant cost 3 euros.

The price is cheap, but the mattresses get hot at night. Without a car, the walk from Bologna to the hotel is quite long and feels a little dangerous for women. Check the route on a map.

Good value for the money. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The fridge, though, wasn’t cold enough.
