The hall is full of lovely little details, each corner seeming to hold something beautiful from another era. The host was one of a kind and glad to help, and the place is in a lovely spot in the old city center of this magical town. I'd definitely stay again.

Nick gave us an outstanding welcome, and the rooms are beautiful, with a style that suits the city perfectly. The location is superb, so everything is a fairly short walk away. I can't recommend the place enough. If I come back to bologna, I'd stay here again without looking elsewhere.

The house is privately owned and doesn't have a 24-hour reception, so arranging check-in and checkout can be awkward around the owner's sleeping and free time. Our room had other problems too: the toilet bowl was a little loose at its anchor, the plastic shower mat seemed like the kind that collects dirt, and the curtain looked dirty along the bottom. Overnight, the heating stopped even though we had the radiator turned all the way up, with outside temperatures around 0°C. We woke up freezing.
