La Magnolia B&B

B&B La Magnolia gave me the best stay! It's about a 20-minute walk to the city centre, which made seeing Bologna easy. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious, a lovely way to start each day. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

I spent 16 nights at the Magnolia apartment and managed lots of day trips to nearby towns. It's modern, spotless and has everything you need to cook. French doors open onto a lovely outdoor seating area, and supermarkets, bakeries, cafes and other amenities are nearby. The walk into central Bologna is easy, and the historic porticoes offer cover in any weather. The bus stop is a five-minute walk away. From there, it's a 15-minute bus ride to the train and bus station, where you can take day trips almost anywhere. During rush hour, I'd leave an hour because traffic can get congested and bus times vary. Sara speaks fluent English and answered all my questions very quickly. I recommend booking without hesitation. Hope you enjoy Bologna and Magnolia as much as I did!

The owners' kindness and good vibes are infectious. They were among the most welcoming people I've ever met. The place was spotless, and it felt like the best of the five places we'd stayed in Bologna. It also felt very safe, a great option for solo travellers. Breakfast was lovely, with typical Italian sweets and options for specific diets. The famous cakes are really worth trying 🤩. There are lovely coffee bars and places for a glass of wine next to the B&B, with no tourists around. Our room had a kettle, a moka express and a lovely balcony. Fantastic!
