Maggiore Residence Flats

The location was the one bright spot: the apartment is an easy walk from the city center, and there are two supermarkets right next door. I added a star for that alone. Inside, though, it was dirty and poorly maintained. There was mold in several spots in the bathroom, dust under the sofa and on the walls, marks on the bedding, and a kitchen that wasn’t clean. The floor also seemed to need scrubbing more often. The toilet flush button was broken, the bedroom door handle was loose, the air conditioning remote had no battery, and the advertised coffee maker wasn’t there. There was only a kettle covered in limescale. Before check-in, a mix-up with the host left me waiting outside the locked door for 30 minutes. Once we got in, he left after kindly saying we could get in touch with any questions. I quickly looked around and reported what I’d found, but got no response. After several calls and messages, I contacted Airbnb, and they helped me fantastically. The stay wasn’t what I’d hoped for.
