Our room windows looked onto an indoor shared space, so privacy and fresh air were an issue. The toilet and bathroom were cramped and uncomfortable, and noise from upstairs kept us from resting. We told the host right away and left, without staying or using the accommodation, but they still refused to refund us.
I was really disappointed by how this was handled. My details had been stolen and used to make an unauthorized booking with my credit card. I contacted the hotel within 24 hours of finding out and explained what had happened, but they still wouldn’t refund me. I don’t see why identity theft should leave me responsible for a booking I never made. The owners and staff showed very little understanding, flexibility, or basic care. Be cautious before booking here.
The staff were friendly, and the rooms felt calm and cozy. It’s in a great spot between the main station and the city centre.
The hosts were so friendly, and the B&B is really well located. We had a lovely few nights at Good Morning Marsala. Breakfast was great, and that complimentary glass of wine in the evening was a treat. The three rooms share a kitchen and dining room, both decorated beautifully, just like the rooms. I’d absolutely recommend it to friends.
We loved the bed, and the rooms were beautiful. The neighborhood seemed pretty hip too. The letdown was breakfast: because of Covid 19 it was served at a café, but we were charged the full price and it really wasn’t worth it. They didn’t tell us about the change beforehand, so I’d skip the breakfast option. There are better choices nearby.
