Residence Cavazza

For a late-night bite, there’s a delivery pizza place across the street, and there’s also a terrace with tables at the hotel. The staff were all nice, and the Romanian woman at Reception was especially helpful. My room worked well for a solo traveler, and the breakfast was more Italian than continental, but I liked it. The hotel is in Bologna’s old town in a quieter area, still within walking distance of the main square.

We chose this place to be near Rizzolo hospital, and it worked perfectly: an easy 15-minute walk or a five-minute taxi ride to the hospital, with the centre just a five-minute walk away. The decor is minimal, but the place has what you need for a stay. More than anything, every staff member was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to assist us. Thanks for everything!

The residence is in a great location, and the rooms were well equipped and impeccably maintained. The staff were attentive and very helpful with cab bookings and last-minute reservations, and even offered complimentary snacks. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfasts were wonderful, with gluten-free food prepared especially for us. The staff were caring and lovely, too. Everything was clean and tidy, and the old Bologna location made it easy to walk to the sights. Highly recommended.
