The apartment’s right by the Garisenda and Asinelli towers, both visible even while they’re being renovated, and there’s a lovely cafe downstairs. Inside, it felt almost new, with an easy, secure entry, a comfortable bed and extra pillows. The kitchen was well stocked, and having a washer-dryer was especially handy for travelers. A fabulous, central place.

We could walk to so many places from this quiet, clean, comfortable spot in the heart of the city, with the two towers right outside our window. The staff were quick to respond, including when they came to our rescue after we locked ourselves out of the safe. Getting out to explore was easy, and we’d highly recommend staying here.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and getting in touch with them was easy. The apartment was spotless, well equipped and in a perfect location. We loved it and highly recommend it.

I spent eight days here on my own while taking a language course in Bologna, and the location made getting around easy. Shops, cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, museums, the language school and the train station were all within walking distance. The apartment was spacious for one person, and I think two would be fine, though more might feel crowded. It’s fully renovated and everything seemed quite new. The bathroom is a bit small, but modern and very clean. The kitchen had what I needed, including a large fridge, dishwasher and washer-dryer. The ladies at Adriano Residence were fantastic, friendly, organised and helpful. They emailed me the gate and apartment codes before I arrived, printed my train tickets and arranged a cab pickup on Sunday, when cars couldn’t enter the historic centre. I did find the mattress too soft, though that’s a matter of taste. Also, sound travels through the wall from the apartment next door. On weekdays it felt like I had the whole building to myself, but on both weekends, especially my last two nights, I could hear the neighbours talking and playing music. I tried to look on the bright side and treat it as Italian listening practice! I understand this is an old palazzo converted into holiday flats, but it’s a shame the walls weren’t better insulated during the renovation. Aside from those two noisy nights, my stay went very well.
