Sant'orsola Suites Apartments

I stayed for one night and found the place clean, with modern, comfortable, practical furnishings and everything I needed. The reception was right on time and very helpful. I even left a book behind after returning the keys. There's no elevator, and the apartment faces the train station, but the windows do a good job of keeping out the noise.

The spot opposite Sant'Orsola station is handy if you're getting around by public transport, though the noise could bother someone on holiday. The apartment itself is very nice. The building feels like an old turn-of-the-century tenement, with issues like the stairs, and the bathroom drains bring up odors. I think the building's very old, so even new plumbing hasn't stopped those annoyances.

I had a reservation, but COVID-19 canceled my work commitment in Bologna. I explained why and politely asked to cancel without a penalty, but the manager refused, saying they didn't have to because the reservation was two days past the decree deadline. Even after booking support called them, they showed no understanding. Instead, they seemed to be taking advantage of the situation to get paid for rooms that wouldn't be filled, and hurried to charge the card I had provided as a guarantee. It felt like scraping together a few euros mattered more to them than customer satisfaction. A great way to make sure customers never come back. They were rude, ill-mannered, and profiteering, and I felt scammed.

I slept so well on that fantastic mattress. The apartment is tastefully furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom that has every comfort. Being close to S. Orsola hospital was very convenient for me.
