Saragozza Apartments

Communication was poor too. We reported an appliance problem and heard nothing back before we left. The apartment itself was okay, but it had an unpleasant smell, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a couple. The area is nice, though we felt unsafe a few times at night. Traffic and people shouting went on for hours, so sleeping was difficult. The front door also had to be forced before it would close properly. I wouldn’t come back.

The location near the city center was a real plus, but we were unhappy with the cleanliness. The floors, dining table, and chairs were dirty, and hygiene overall was poor. We were on the fourth floor with a child under two, which was difficult. We messaged management through Booking.com to ask for a lower floor or at least a thorough clean, but got no reply or follow-up. Given what we paid, the state of the apartment and the lack of response were unacceptable. I hope later guests have a better stay.

There’s no elevator, which is the main downside. Otherwise, it’s a roomy apartment for four, with space for more people too.

The location works well. It’s an old home that’s been renovated, so it’s fine if you’re not expecting too much.
