The response from the property was almost nonexistent, and the experience was disappointing. I had booked two nights through Tantosvago. After a quick check-in and leaving our bags, I closed the balcony, which had been left open. That night we noticed a strong, stale smoke smell in the living room. My five-year-old daughter has asthma and started coughing. When we aired the room and sat her on the sofa, ants immediately got on her. There were insects in every room. I sent photos on WhatsApp at 11 p.m., but the message was seen and nobody replied. We couldn't find another place that late, and the disruption was considerable. The apartment also looked older than the photos suggested, for example, it had a plastic shower mat. I tried repeatedly to reach the property the next morning from 9 a.m. and got no answer. At 10:30 they said they'd bring ant traps, which was unacceptable with a child there. At 1:30 p.m. I got a call saying they knew we'd left. They called the ants "normal" and asked what I would do "at home," without offering a formal apology. Tantosvago said they were willing to resolve the issue, but only to a very limited extent. The property, despite the photos and videos I'd provided, said there had been "no substantial disruption."

It's in a quiet area close to all the amenities, and the apartment has all the comforts. The owners are available if guests need anything.
