We enjoyed the farm's peace and quiet, with Bolsena city and its supermarket, shops, and restaurants still quite nearby. In July 2016, my wife and I, a middle-aged couple traveling with our dog, stayed in the small but really beautiful "Casaletto Costantino" house at Agroturismo Borgo Podernovo. It was airy, comfortable, and well equipped. Borgo Podernovo has a pool with very clear, warm water, and the lake view is beautiful. There's also a private lakeside beach with good facilities and lots of walking paths. We hope to come back.

We've stayed here four times, and it's simply fantastic. Paola is always available and there when you need her. You can choose between the pool and the private beach by the lake. The holiday home is simply furnished but practical, and Bolsena is just a five-minute drive away with everything you need. Its charming old town, promenade, and harbor are lovely places to linger. The Tuesday market is a must for bargain hunters.
