The quiet atmosphere was just what we wanted. The host was incredibly friendly, and the property is beautiful, right on the lake. We made coffee and sat on the black sand beach in the mornings, then painted near the beach in the evenings. The kids enjoyed the clean, nice pool. The kitchen had everything we needed, and Bolsena was just a 5 minute drive away with plenty of food options. We picked this spot for access to Terme di Saturnia, an hour away by car, and Civita Di Bagnoregio, 30 minutes away. A really peaceful stay.

The beach and pool were nice, and the place was clean with a good atmosphere. We couldn’t find a restaurant within walking distance, though, and you need a car to reach a supermarket. They do sell fresh bread, vegetables, and fruit if you don’t make it into town. The house we stayed in had no AC, which made for some pretty hot nights, and there were no screens on the doors or windows. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.

A real little gem, welcoming and family-friendly, with nature all around and a beautiful lake whose colors are something special. The owners’ hospitality, kindness, and helpfulness make the place feel even more magical. Simply wonderful ❤️
