Hotel Le Sorgenti

After midnight, my friend and I accidentally left our room key inside the room. Reception was closed, but when we called the manager, he came in after his working hours and let us back in. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in May, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious, but what stayed with me most was how warm and helpful the staff were. We were traveling as a group and, on checkout day, left a suitcase at the property. Four months later, in September, it reached us in India untouched and intact, thanks to a neighbor who had been vacationing in Italy. Throughout those months, the staff replied promptly whenever we sent a message. Many thanks to Mr. Raymondo for his steady help and patience. I'll always be grateful for the service.

For the price, I think the stay should have offered more, even allowing for this being a school trip. The hotel is fairly clean and the staff are friendly, but it's isolated, with nothing nearby for several kilometers. Breakfast had limited choices, though the food itself was okay. Dinner was very poor, and the wine selection was limited too. The rooms need renovation, and the mattresses are as hard as military ones.

We had a very good stay at Hotel Sorenti for three nights in October '23 with our school group of 40+. It suited us well, and the remote setting worked for our trips to Lake Garda, Venice, Vicenza and the surrounding regions. The hotel was quiet, with few other guests, which was a good fit for a school group. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and reception and night portering made evening tea and coffee for the teachers after long activity days. We had a lovely meal when we arrived, daily packed lunches, and a breakfast spread with plenty of fruit, cereal, pastries and drinks. Rooms are basic and a little dated, but very clean and serviced daily with good attention to detail. A kettle in the teachers' rooms would be a useful addition. The hotel felt secure and friendly, and the staff were very nice.
