I was there on business for two weeks in November 2023, and after spending plenty of time there, I can't think of anything bad to say about Locanda Grego. I don't get some of the negative reviews. I ate at the hotel restaurant on several days. The tagliata with matured meat was amazing, and I tried a few other dishes too, including Bacallà alla Vincentina. They warned me its flavor might be strong for some people, but I loved it. The room was spacious and nice, and stayed perfectly warm through the winter. The desk was small, enough for my laptop but not much else, which was a bit cramped when I worked after hours, though it's not really a complaint. The owner and all the staff always had a smile. And the hotel doggie loved belly rubs! I'd come back if I could. Thanks to everyone on staff.

A real gem. The restaurant food was perfection, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout a really pleasant experience. There was off-street parking and the restroom was spotless. Try the baccala!

The portions were hearty, the food and service were great, and the wine list was wonderful. It was useful that the staff spoke English too.

The breakfast had a rich selection, and I really recommend the restaurant. I'll definitely come back for more Spritz. The room and bathroom were immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable.
