Bogen bistro & apartments

Our best meal of the holiday, no question. The food was delicious and the plates were carefully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful, and our six-year-old loved his pasta. We loved eating here. If you end up here, you won't regret it.

Dinner was divine, especially the eggplant Parmesan we shared. It was the best I've ever had, with a deep, mouthwatering flavor. The waitress was lovely too.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with stable, fast Wi-Fi. The bathroom was excellent, though the shower heater took a couple of minutes to kick in. There's a microwave, handy for food from the supermarket, and the location is great for walking to the train station, central square, and old town. The route to the station has lots of cobblestones, so it's better without suitcases. There's also a short flight of stairs to reach the apartments, worth keeping in mind if you're with older relatives or have knee problems. My only complaint is the pillows: they're very soft and don't support my neck, though I know that's personal preference.

Everything we tried was really delicious and cooked just right. Every dish passing our table looked beautiful, and the service and setting were excellent. The Kerner wine was great too.
