A very clean, quiet place with great service and generous people. Officially it’s a 3 star hotel, but I’d say it’s definitely 4+. I had a great experience, would certainly come back, and definitely recommend it.

The rooms looked immaculate, and the hotel felt almost new. Downstairs there’s a huge spa with a lovely large pool and three separate spa areas. Breakfast was just okay, neither good nor bad. My main gripe was the air conditioning, which barely put out a little puff of cool air. I also felt like a nuisance when we arrived at noon, since I had to apologize for being early, then asked where to leave our bikes during our organized tour. Nice hotel and facilities, though the service could use some work.

The breakfast, room, and pool were all really nice, but the reception experience was awful. On our last night we actually found a bed bug and took it to the front desk. The man there didn’t apologize, and kept speaking Italian to our tour manager instead of addressing us directly. It felt careless and disrespectful, with no accountability at all. We’d started getting bad bites each night on day two of our four-day stay. When we first reported them, reception said they were mosquito bites and told us not to worry, since the hotel was disinfected every 10 days and they’d done a “test” that day with “no bugs.” We hadn’t seen any bugs then, so we thought maybe that was right, but the bites continued. The receptionist was unfriendly and unhelpful.

The balcony and bathroom were lovely, and the receptionist was warm, helpful, and friendly. There’s a grocery store really close by. My star off is for the noise on the corridor side, I’m guessing the doors are too thin, and for the AC, which kept switching itself on and off overnight. Parking could use improvement too. The underground lot was closed when we arrived, and the other spaces weren’t enough to park properly, with one bus taking up half the lot.
