The staff were especially accommodating and friendly, even letting us have breakfast though we were late. Our room was fine, and the bathroom had clearly been renovated recently and felt very modern. We stayed one night and the visit was generally alright. The setting made it less appealing. The hotel itself felt a bit odd, with room numbers printed on A4 paper stuck to doors, and the elevator doors shut so fast we got caught between them. Outside, it’s an industrial area with lots of abandoned buildings. I’d recommend it to travelers who don’t mind a 30-minute bus ride into Bolzano center, or to people like us taking Flixbus, since its station is a short walk away.

The room was quite warm, and the towels and sheets were clean. Breakfast was okay, and the host and her daughter were friendly and helpful, with the daughter translating from Italian into English for us. Getting here from central Bolzano takes a few bus connections. It would have helped to know about the construction on the ground floor and how to get into the hotel, but all in all I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff are generally very good, apart from the bar manager, who can be a little precious. The hotel is in an industrial estate with very little to see or do nearby, and walking into town takes an hour, so you’ll need a cab or a car. With so little competition in the area, prices are marked up. Good staff, but a poor location and overpriced.

Clean, nice place with comfortable beds and a good bar. A great stop for a night when you’re traveling south to Italy from northern Europe.

We booked online and went straight there, but check-in was a bit confusing and we couldn’t work out how to get inside. After we got checked in, everything was fine, and we had dinner downstairs at the pizzaria.
