Parkhotel Mondschein, a Member of Design Hotels

Right in the center of Bolzano, the hotel is very well placed, with private parking next door and direct access into the hotel. It's a belle epoque design, which you'll either like or not, with no in-between. It suited us perfectly, and the restaurant was great.

Great value, with a phenomenal location and easy parking, though it may not suit really low cars. The hotel is super clean, the staff are very friendly, and breakfast is fresh and delicious. I loved the attention to detail throughout, plus the gym with Nohrd & rogue equipment and the sauna.

This was my second visit to Parkhotel Mondschein, and it's still my favorite hotel in Bolzano. The staff are attentive and friendly, the rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the food is fantastic. Breakfast is a huge buffet, with warm options like omelettes and pancakes that are definitely worth adding. Dinner is excellent too, and drinks are well priced. The pool is great, although sun loungers can fill up fast in peak season. Towels were occasionally missing, but staff sorted that straight away. The yoga studio is excellent as well. I would love to see a complimentary or discounted class for guests. I'll keep coming back.

The room was comfortable in some ways, with a nice atmosphere, good location, quiet surroundings and good heating. Still, we didn't get the balcony promised in the offer we paid for. There were no slippers or hair comb, and the shampoo was a two-in-one product with shower gel. The restaurant was closed on Sunday, and we couldn't use the pool because it wasn't heated. The room had parquet flooring, and something got through my socks and into my foot, which became infected. They had nothing to remove it, and no doctor or other help was provided. Slippers would have helped prevent this. Even with those problems, the overall experience and vibes were good.
