The views were lovely, especially from our room's balcony, and the location is great. But the hotel felt very tired and in need of renovation. Our room facilities were poor, with a very old shower and no kettle, and the food was average at best. Getting to town means a steep walk down and back up, with no shuttle except on arrival and departure. There was no help with our baggage either, and no lift. All in all, it was a disappointing stay.

Each evening you can enjoy the hotel and its garden as the sun goes down, after exploring a section of the coastal path. The railway station is only one kilometre away, making this a perfect hotel for discovering Cinque Terre and its villages.

The hotel is lovely, clean, and in a quiet location. I would've given it five stars, but breakfast was average, the bed was hard, and the shower was very small. Thank you.

The food was so good that we chose to have dinner there every night. We really enjoyed our time in Bonassola, and hotel villa belvedere was an excellent base that had everything we needed. Lovely location, accommodation, and food.

We've now stayed at Hotel Villa Belvedere five times, even though we usually move on to somewhere new each year. The couple who run it and their staff put so much care into their guests, the food, the hotel interior, and the garden. They even play good music at dinner, and the view from the garden and terass is breathtaking. There are new things to notice every year. This time, the two peacocks were part of the outdoor highlights. They escaped and ended up in a tree for a while, before hunger brought them down.
