We spent a week here over Pentecost with the whole extended family and were all very happy with the house. Marco was a great host. A couple of small things would make it even better: some shade or a roof over the terrace, and ant bait in the kitchen.

The peaceful countryside setting really made our stay, especially at night, with farmland all around and a calm, special atmosphere. There’s also a pool and a ping-pong table. We were 15 families and everyone was comfortable during our six days in this 17th-century Italian villa. The layout worked well for a big group. There are four very spacious double bedrooms on each of the second and third floors, and every bedroom has its own bathroom and shower. Downstairs, we had a large kitchen, a roomy living and dining area, and a separate lounge with a fireplace and TV. Antique furniture mixed with modern art gives the place a distinctive feel. Marco and Umberto were friendly and helpful, and Michel, the caretaker, can help with barbecues or meals. Highly recommended.
