The pizza was among the best I’ve ever had, and they offer a gluten-free version. We also tried some of the local specialties, which were delicious, and the menu had plenty of variety. The staff were patient and kind, and spoke English. We’d spent a few days in the mountains near Cuneo and stopped at Le Lanterne for dinner on our way back. It was nearly fully booked, but they still found us a table. I’d recommend stopping at Le Lanterne if you’re passing through.

We were tired and hungry after a long trip, but arrived an hour before the restaurant opened. When we said we needed something to eat, they opened it for us anyway. That’s good service. The staff were lovely throughout our stay, and the rooms were beautiful and clean. It was a very nice, inexpensive hotel, and I have no complaints. I’d visit again if I’m back in the area.

The rooms are quite large, with a good bed, a small balcony, and everything clean. The people were nice, though they spoke only Italian. Breakfast was Italian style, but cheese and ham were available too. A charming Italian hotel, fine for a few days.
