B&B Figura Apartments

We were there for the MotoGP. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, just like home. I’d recommend it for a stopover or a stay of a few days.

Giovanni and his wife are the kind of hosts you hope for. They look after guests’ comfort and come by every morning to tidy the garden and sanitize the shared areas with a pressure washer, which was especially welcome during the COVID-19 pandemic. The apartments were spotless, with every amenity, in a quiet residential part of Borgo San Lorenzo that’s still close to everything. The garden was lovely and always neat, and we were glad to have a barbecue for a delicious meal. We had a really pleasant stay and will definitely return to B&B Figura.

You’re only steps from the town center, but the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The owners were discreet, kind, and helpful, and even invited us to dinner one evening for a wonderful rosticciana. They also let us use their garden to relax or eat outside. It feels like home, and it’s much more than a basic B&B. It’s a little two-room apartment, with a living area and fully equipped kitchen that even has an oven, a big double bedroom with a very comfortable memory foam mattress, two bunk beds and roomy closets, plus a bathroom with a shower. Vicchio, Giotto’s birthplace, the Mugello racetrack, Barbiana, famous for its Milanese heritage, and Florence are all a few kilometers away. The value for money is truly hard to beat.

Giovanni and Lucrezia, the owners, sent us off feeling like we’d made two new friends. They’re fantastic people who make you feel at home and do all they can to help you have a great holiday, with lots of places to visit. A wonderful place with wonderful people!
