Villa Gerini

We spent a week at Villa Gerini for our wedding and a family holiday, bringing around 35 relatives, including young children. Everyone had a beautiful, unforgettable time, and we loved the pool and gorgeous garden. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well kept, and for that week it felt like living in a chateau. Mrs Patrizia, the owner and administrator, helped with everything and did her best to meet every request. She suggested florists, a makeup artist and hairstylist for the wedding, as well as wonderful restaurants and lovely places for walks nearby. We felt completely looked after and at home. We were also sincerely honored when Mrs. Patrizia accepted our invitation to the wedding dinner and shared that special time with our family. Whether you’re after a peaceful weekend or a family holiday, Villa Gerini is a beautiful choice. We hope to get the chance to return.

The gardens were beautifully kept, the apartments had everything we needed, and the whole place was immaculate. I stayed at Villa Gerini with my wedding guests, and it’s one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been. If I’m back in Tuscany, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

A wonderful place with a great host, and somewhere our family made some of our most precious memories. Truly special.

We spent four nights in the Peony apartment and had everything we needed, from cooking pots and utensils to extra pillows and blankets. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were huge, which is unusual for Italian hotels and B&Bs. One had a large enclosed shower, also not that common in European homes, and the other had a bathtub. The pool was a treat, with a relaxing atmosphere and a section with jets for a massage. There were plenty of sun loungers, plus shaded tables with umbrellas. The apartment and grounds were beautiful and very clean. We could walk about 15 minutes to the Coop grocery store, a small, basic shop with enough for simple meals like pasta and sandwiches. Patrizia was quick and helpful in all our communications, before and during our stay. She and Linda greeted us when we arrived. Linda was lovely, spoke English, and helped us communicate in person. They even picked us up at the train station and showed us around town so we’d know where things were. They suggested renting a car, which we would have done if staying more than a few days. We definitely recommend Villa Gerini and hope to return!
