The host was accommodating and helpful when we arrived late. The house is small, but the layout is clever, and the views in every direction are incredible. It’s a beautiful building in an unbelievable setting. I’d highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

The terrace is a lovely place to unwind, and there are two loungers by the stream too. Each apartment has its own kitchen, so you can shop for groceries and cook for yourself. We spent two fantastic nights in complete peace. Chiavenna is just a few kilometers away, as is Switzerland, so you can feel tucked away without being too far from things. If you want quiet days and a bit of peace with the world, this is the place.
There’s a wonderful organic garden with a vineyard, perfect for an aperitif, and the property is well connected to Switzerland and essential services. For me, it’s hands down the best farmhouse in Valchiavenna, a spectacular little corner of paradise. Highly recommended.
The landlord is lovely, gives useful advice, and even brings fresh fruit and vegetables from his own garden. The accommodation has everything you need, with care taken over the smallest details. The surrounding area is stunningly beautiful.
