Baita Larix Bormio

After each cycling ride, I really appreciated the amazing shower. The room was cozy, and Luca and his lovely mother were so kind and willing to help with any request. They made me feel special. I had a very comfortable, enjoyable stay in Bormii. I didn’t get any pictures.

We had so much space in the “7 Trilocale deluxe (Mansarda)” as a family of four, and the sauna and laundry facilities were much appreciated. There’s also a large locked storage closet in the basement that would fit several bikes or ski gear, though we didn’t need it. The property was clean, functional, well stocked, beautifully decorated, and in excellent condition. The hosts got in touch the day before we arrived to make sure we had what we needed for check-in. When we pulled up, one of them met us at the door, showed us the indoor parking, helped with our bags, and pointed out the main features. Booking online was easy, and the website described the place accurately. We could walk to a small grocery shop and other stores around the corner, with restaurants and more shops less than five minutes away. The gondola to Bormio 2000 was under a ten-minute walk, so we didn’t need the car for several days. When we return to Bormio, we’ll look to stay here again first.

Cyclists have a great base here for exploring the beautiful area. Don’t miss Torri di Fraele/Cancano and Oga. There’s secure bike storage, an on-site charging station, and a fast charger within 500m, which is handy if you have an EV. The supermarket and good restaurants are just around the corner. The apartment was excellent, very clean and well maintained, and the owners were attentive. Perfect spot!

The SkiBus stop is only about a three-minute walk away, which worked really well for us. The owners were kind and always ready to help, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Everything was clean, nicely equipped, and prepared just right. We had a wonderful time in Boromio, thank you. We’d gladly come back and definitely recommend it.
