We came to Bormio to ski with our Lagatto romagnolo dog. Dogs are allowed, but they can’t be left alone in the apartment. The owner yelled at us and threatened to call the police if we left the dog by itself. We were charged 150 Eur for the dog and 80 extra for cleaning 🙃. The ski room was left open the whole time, and we never got a key despite asking for one. Reception said they would lock it at night, but they never did. Since the room is accessible from outside, anyone could take something.

The location worked well for us: although it’s outside the center, Bormio Terme is an easy walk, and the bus stop there goes to the ski slopes or Livigno. Our two-bedroom apartment had everything we needed, including underground parking, a heated room for skis and boots, and laundry facilities. The host was friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.

Having a garage under the house, with elevator access, was especially welcome since parking in August can be so hard to find. The vacation apartments sit in a lovely, quiet part of Bormio, and the property itself is beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and practical. We’ll definitely come back.

There was a mix-up with the rooms, which is why I’m giving three stars, though we’ll certainly return in the future. The chalet itself is wonderful and has everything you need. It also has very spacious covered parking and a ski room with boot warmers.
