A classic ski chalet look, with lovely mountain decor, and the hotel was sparkling clean. The welcome was warm every time, and the breakfast was next level. The staff were excellent. Paula and Rafaela were efficient, patient, and especially attentive. The location worked really well for us, close to the mountain, nightlife, great restaurants, and Celso ski shop. The venue was superb, and we appreciated having elevators for our luggage. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We'll be back.

My family keeps choosing this place in Bormio. The location is ideal, the rooms are cozy and nicely decorated, breakfast tastes good, and the owners are lovely. I also like the lounge's personal touch, with its photos, books, and artefacts. Booking by email is the part that needs work. Sometimes it took days, even weeks, to get a reply from the secretary. I also didn't like being called “dear sir.” That lack of attention to detail made the correspondence an unpleasant part of the experience.

The room was so small that the two of us could barely move around at the same time, and it was cold much of the day because the heating wasn't enough. There's hardly any service. Breakfast doesn't start until 08h00, which makes it hard to reach the ski complex in time. The bar and shared living room are closed, and there are no staff around for the rest of the day. The bar prices are outrageous too, 15 euros for one shot of Jack Daniel's.

The owner is very helpful and shared a secret ot two about the area. The family-run hotel also has a good parking lot and plenty of space for bicycles. Rooms are small but very clean. They're not just cleaned, they're even set to order, which I appreciate, though I know some people might not. Breakfast was nice, except the coffee comes from a silly machine while a lovely espresso machine sits unused. And why do the women dress up like it's 1830?
