La Rosa del Vesuvio

I’d say this could be a good place once the renovations are finished. Would I recommend it? Yes. Is it fully as it should be yet? No. I hope the feedback helps improve things for future visitors. The key pickup by code needs clearer instructions from the start. They should send the code and explain what to do before arrival. The place shows signs of improvement, but a few details still need attention: some electrical outlets aren’t finished, the fridge makes a faint but annoying noise, and the sheets and bedding could be much better. We didn’t use the parking because we couldn’t work out where it was or how to get in. There were some good points, too. They replied properly on WhatsApp. Breakfast is at a nearby café where the staff are very friendly. The bathrooms were clean, with plenty of towels and soap, though if you stay more than three days, it’s worth asking for them to be changed. They also leave water and some food, including toast, jam, and cutlery, which is always welcome. The coffee machine works well.

There were ants, and the cleaning wasn’t good. The garden was basically a landfill, and the terrace looked out over garbage, so at best it was a porch. I wouldn’t recommend it.
