I wasn’t staying at the hotel, just happened to find this restaurant before a nearby hike. The ravioli may have been the best I’ve ever eaten, even after ten days in Italy. Everything else was incredible too: the wine, pasta, salmon, and potatoes. If you’re within an hour and don’t mind the narrow mountain roads, make the drive for lunch or dinner. You’ll be amazed a restaurant this remote can be this good.

Miralago was our favorite hotel during a recent 17-day trip through Europe. It’s a family-run place overlooking Lake d'Iseo, with a breathtaking view. The renovations are flawless, and I know a lot about renovations. The whole family, including their four daughters, were charming and welcoming. The father is the chef, and his meals were exquisite. It’s also very affordable. If you want to explore the Dolomites and beautiful Lake d'Iseo, classy Hotel Miralago is a must.

At 1000m above sea level, this is a lively country home: simple, clean, and friendly, and family run. The terrace looks over a terrific valley view. There are nice paths nearby for running or hiking, and the hotel is excellent value for money.

The view from the fourth-floor balcony is amazing, so ask to go up and have a look. The food is great, with homemade pasta and biscuits and local products like the Bossico cheesecake. Service is friendly and lovely. It’s quite expensive, but worth a visit for the food quality and the view.

A very well-kept hotel, constantly renovated and up to date. They make guests comfortable through their hospitality and the restaurant, which serves very traditional food of extremely high quality, with a slow food approach. Recommended.
