The private path to the beach was a real plus, and the family night entertainment was hilarious, with a group of young people putting on a musical act. We’d return despite a few issues, since we more or less knew what to expect. The hotel felt like a positive throwback to Italy in the 80s, with decor that had stayed the same for decades, but the rooms and bathrooms had been renewed, which is what mattered. Even though it was still 35c that week, our room was a fresh place to sleep. It faced the back, but we got an amazing sunset over the trees. There was also a huge number of white plastic beach chairs dumped randomly behind the hotel, which seems like a wider problem in south Italy, with rubbish all over the streets. When we arrived, the receptionist couldn't find any record of our Booking.co reservation and seemed uninterested in getting us to our room. She was handling the jobs of three people at once, though, and looked like she'd worked a 12h shift and was back the next morning, so maybe that explains it. Good old European countries and their perks.

Everything was old, dirty, and worn out. Some time ago, after I posted my first review, staff harassed me. Then cleaning staff stole my things, and I was told there was no way to find out who had taken them. That's all you need to know about this place.

The hotel was great, with air conditioning, which isn't common in this area. There were lively events by the pool, and room service was good.

The hotel was nice and everything else was good, but our mini fridge didn't work. They replaced it with another one, and that was broken too.
