Camping Ciclamino

We managed with the few pitches available, though this campsite really isn't suited to campers. You can fill and drain your water, but there’s no way to empty the waste tank. We also had a man, probably the owner, verbally attack us just because we asked where the bar was. He seemed to think we weren't staying at the campsite. That made it even more awkward, since we weren't trying to use the facilities, just pay for something to eat. The way he and a woman on the beach giggled at us was enough to make us leave. At check-in, a polite, well-mannered young woman had greeted us, but that counted for little after the rest.

The dining room is huge, and the portions are generous and tasty, with food arriving quickly. The owners are friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome as soon as we came in. There’s a mini market next door, plenty of parking, and the place is close to both the ski slope and sledding area. Breakfast is worth considering too.

Everything was clean, from the bathrooms to the shared spaces, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The campsite is ideally placed near the ski slopes and hiking trails for all abilities. I really hope I can come back.

A great camper stay. The facilities were heated, spacious, and very clean, and the common areas were excellent. The restaurant, pizzeria, and bar were good too, with superb pizza at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly. It’s near the ski slopes, equipment rental, and ski school, and there’s a heated room for storing your own ski gear. Washer and dryer are available for a fee.
