We had such a good stay that we all wished we’d booked longer. The place is beautiful and new, the owner made us feel at home, and both dinner and breakfast were good. One thing about getting there: Google Maps doesn’t show the hotel entrance at the signed sharp bend, though you can drive right up. Coming from Arco, it also sent us onto vineyard trails that seem meant for workers. It was fun, but meeting oncoming traffic there could have been a problem. Stick to the proper roads, which aren’t always easy to pick out on Maps.

The scout campsite beside the house has a wonderful view over the valley and surrounding mountains. The person in charge was kind and thoughtful, and willing to help us work things out. The price was reasonable. I’d recommend this spot to other scout groups.

A lovely, welcoming hostess, and a great place to enjoy the mountains if you’re driving around the Lake Garda region.
