Hotel Caribe by Double Hospitality

Breakfast was a highlight, with a generous buffet and plenty of variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and functional, and many have balconies with breathtaking lake views. Hotel Caribe sits in a prime spot between Lake Garda and the mountains, right on the picturesque lakeshore. The main road is close, though, so there can be some noise, especially in lake-view rooms. It’s a charming hotel, but dated. The property seems to have seen better days and could use a refurbishment to update the interiors and amenities.

Everything was spotless, absolutely clean. Breakfast was amazing, with a view over the lake, and the staff were so kind and helpful. When the hotel is full, the wifi gets slower. It may be too slow for work, but it’s perfectly enough for a phone, WhatsApp, social media, and the like. Parking is great, with only a slight incline, despite what others wrote.

It’s an older but lively hotel, and great value for Lake Garda. Breakfast was good, especially by Italian standards. There’s a pool for swimming and the hotel has its own pier. They also accommodated my large van for parking.

Our room looked out over the lake, and the view was breathtaking. It was clean, simply furnished, and not very large. There’s a small pier nearby, with sunbeds for guests.
