The food was delicious, the place spotlessly clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. It's a charming, atmospheric spot away from the crowds, with peace, quiet, and beautiful views. We found it on BOOKING, but the listing didn't say it was 1,000 meters above sea level and 30 minutes from Lake Garda. We paid in advance and still found it a pleasant surprise if you want to get away and relax. It's too far for anyone hoping to stay near the lake, and the roads are winding, so it's easy to take a wrong turn. The food is good, all grilled. There's an extra fee, but it's reasonable and affordable, not included in the price. Half-board as part of the stay would be helpful. Service: 8. Cleanliness: 8. Location: 8 if you want quiet and seclusion, 2 if you want to be close to Lake Garda.

One star is much too generous for this outrageous situation. We arrived to find the hotel empty, with no staff or guests, and couldn't reach anyone. We had to scramble to find somewhere else to stay. The surrounding nature is beautiful, but getting there by car or other transport is extremely difficult. Stay away from this hotel!
