Hotel Nettuno

The location made it easy to get around to attractions and amenities, whether we wanted to relax, explore, or find food. The staff were warm, attentive, and eager to make us comfortable. The views were stunning, with green surroundings, clear blue sky, and shining water. From the moment we arrived, the place felt peaceful and indulgent. We left with a memorable impression and would recommend it for a romantic trip, a family holiday, or a break from everyday life.

Breakfast was a treat with the restaurant right by the lake, and dinner there was good and reasonably priced too. The hotel is right next to the water, which is a great location. Our room faced the street, so we could hear traffic at night. If you're worn out from water sports or sightseeing, you may find the noise bothers you less.

The staff were friendly, but that's about all I can say in its favor. The portions were small and the food cost too much for what they served. I'd have been better off buying a piece of bread anywhere else. We won't return, and I can't recommend it.

We keep coming back, and have done for four years. The family who manage the hotel are polite and happy to help, and we've always found the staff friendly. I've never seen the rudeness some people mention. The restaurant is our favorite part. The homemade Italian food is fresh and delicious, with traditional dishes and some local fish. They keep things simple, and the lake view while you eat is hard to beat. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though a little dated. For a hotel this size, I don't expect everything to be replaced often, and it still feels like good value. They're right on the lake, looking west toward the mountains, and the balconies are a good size for sitting out at sunset. During the day there are cushioned sunbeds for relaxing in the sun and swimming in the refreshing water.
