Friendly staff and a nice location. A very pleasant hotel and good value for the price. Highly recommended.

The security seemed good, with both an electronic lock and a mechanical lock on the inside of the door. I slept really well in the city centre thanks to the soundproof windows. The location made it easy to get to the train station, city centre, and tourist spots. My room was well equipped and cleaned daily, and the bathroom was large. Staff were friendly, and breakfast had a fantastic, varied selection. I’d recommend this hotel and would stay again.

The hotel has an excellent atmosphere, and the rooms are perfect, but the receptionist’s attitude made me give it one star. The previous time we stayed, the other receptionist had been kind and did everything she could to find us a parking spot. This time was very different. The young receptionist, who I think was called Alexandra, was hostile and made the whole experience miserable. We had chosen the hotel because Booking showed parking available. When we arrived, she said the hotel spaces were full, even though I saw four open spots then and three the next morning. She told us we should ask about parking in advance. I had contacted the hotel through its only communication channel two hours earlier, but they hadn’t answered. She suggested parking on the street, where I’d seen broken window glass. My car had already been vandalized twice in Northern Italy, and I couldn’t risk it happening again with several thousand euros’ worth of supplies in the car. Then she recommended a parking complex, saying, as I recall, that it was open 24 hours, guarded, and safe, with guards and cameras. I paid €10, but the rules there clearly said the facility only provided parking and wasn’t responsible for theft or vandalism. Her statement about its safety was false, and it left me feeling I had to risk the supplies in my car.

I liked the hotel’s low-waste approach: signs encourage guests to save water and energy, and towels and sheets are only changed when needed. The place was extremely clean, and the staff were professional, welcoming, friendly, and spoke several languages. I even received a free breakfast for signing up to their newsletter. It’s on a main road at the edge of the city, though there wasn’t much traffic noise. The piazzas and castle are a very short walk away, perfect for a stroll after dinner at one of the lively restaurants or bars. I’ll definitely come back and use this hotel chain again.
