Novotel Brescia 2

I enjoyed the stay and would like to come back soon. My room was modern, lovely, and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, lots of TV channels, and a great view over the mountains. There were Rituals shampoos and complimentary water, and the minibar was well stocked enough and reasonably priced. Breakfast had plenty of choice, the food was replenished throughout, and the coffee was good. Checkout was quick and friendly. I was there for three nights to visit family who live nearby. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk through a park from the bus station. I checked the price of an Uber for the return trip and it was almost €100! We ate at the bar on the first evening. There was an issue with our food, but it was dealt with quickly and satisfactorily. The bar was very expensive, the priciest drinks I found anywhere in Brescia. We didn’t eat at the restaurant. There are two supermarkets nearby, and above one of them, across the road, is a wonderful Indian restaurant. It’s one of the best I’ve ever eaten in.

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom large. Staff were very helpful, and the hotel has a very good restaurant. We also liked having free parking. I expected a welcome bottle of water, but there wasn’t one. The ironing room is a very long way away.

We had a wonderful family stay at Novotel Brescia 2, where we spent two nights during our visit to Brescia. The rooms were clean, service professional, and the pool well maintained. It was peaceful and good value for money, with supermarkets, cafés, and bars nearby. Highly recommended!

The room was clean, and the breakfast staff were excellent. The waffle maker was a nice extra. But check-in was awful. The night receptionist was rude, and I felt like I was arriving at a one-star motel. I’d booked a room with a king-size bed and got a double bed instead. He saw me struggling to get service and didn’t offer the Wi-Fi details until the next morning, just minutes before we left. He also tried to charge me almost twice what I owed because he’d accidentally added breakfast for four people instead of two, then blamed a system error. Mistakes happen, but owning up to a human error would have been a better explanation. He was still at the desk the next morning and just as unprofessional. I didn’t ask about the Wi-Fi or a room change because it was 1 AM, and dealing with this receptionist felt more stressful than sleeping in the tiny bed. I hope they train him and teach him some professionalism.
