Bar Lux downstairs in the plaza has a small-town, family feel, with great people and drinks. The hotel itself gives you stunning mountain views and a safe, comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price. Our room was clean and the owners very pleasant. Breakfast was satisfactory, especially considering breakfasts often aren’t included these days. It’s just steps from the train station and a 10-minute walk from the Piazza, handy for walking off all that awesome traditional cuisine. This isn’t a luxury hotel, so don’t come expecting that. The TV volume wouldn’t go above 14, which made it really hard to hear while winding down at night. Wi-Fi worked fine in our first-floor room but not once we went up to the second floor. We had a pleasant stay and would stay again if we’re in the area.

It was quiet and relaxed. I would have liked a kettle and hair dryer in the room, though the owners could lend me a hair dryer. The front door stays locked, so you have to buzz to get in until you have a key.

Getting around was easy, with the hotel close to the train and bus stations and only a 10-minute walk from the center. There’s a small shopping center right next door where you can find everything. The owner was a lovely person and very generous with advice about places to visit and how to get around. The hotel was truly very clean, from the shared areas right through to the rooms, and everything was impeccable. We felt really good staying here and will definitely come back.

The owner was kind and helpful, and the place is very close to the train station and major attractions. Our room was spacious, with its own bathroom, and super clean. Recommended! If we come back to Bressanone, we’ll definitely stay here again.
