Tschannerhof

I really enjoyed Tschannerhof. It was very clean and had everything, even a TV, and the owner was lovely and hospitable. The WiFi was slow and sometimes unavailable. In a way, that was a plus, since it got me spending more time outside in the beautiful mountain surroundings and reading in my free time.

The apartment is lovely, in a very quiet spot with a stunning view across Bressanone. You can get there by train and bus, and the Dolomites are about an hour away by car or two hours by bus. The owner is super friendly, though there was a bit of a language barrier since they don’t speak English. We got a complimentary jar of homemade jam, and their apple juice is fantastic. Cash payment is expected, which wasn’t ideal for such a large amount. We hadn’t been told beforehand, and it’s strange to expect people to just carry €300 in cash.

The valley views are beautiful, and the accommodation was very clean. The owners were friendly, helpful and always available. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

We stayed two weeks in apartment 1 at the Tschannerhof with our family of three and our dog. The apartment felt bright, welcoming and clean as soon as we arrived, and there was plenty of room for all our things.
