It’s comfortable and quiet, and the price seems reasonable. The slopes are a short drive away, though the walk is long. Furnishings, utensils, and facilities are rather tired. I wouldn’t put more than three people in one unit.

The place was clean and had a magnificent view of the Matterhorn, but we didn’t get the room we’d booked. It was meant to have two bedrooms; instead, there was one bedroom and the other beds were in the living room. The lifts are tiny, which made managing all our baggage and a baby really difficult. The kitchen is sparse and needs upgrading. The bathroom and other facilities are worn and a bit tatty, and there were no bath plugs. It’s quite a distance from the resort, though there is a bus.

The valley and mountain views are really nice, and having free WiFi throughout the building was good. But this is only two-star lodging, so don’t expect much. It wasn’t a good fit for children, especially babies and toddlers. The apartments were dirty and often smelled, with only one cleaner for the whole building. We had to keep complaining about the heating because the rooms were cold much of the time. The larger apartments are usually nicer.

There weren’t any sheets in our room. We had to pay extra and make the bed ourselves. I’ve never come across that, even at AIRbnb. Without a car, getting around by bus or on foot is really inconvenient. The only good thing was the view from the balcony.
