The central location is a real plus, and the owners were communicative and okay to deal with, though only the woman speaks English. The apartment itself is spacious, but it’s all open plan, so there’s no privacy. The kitchen is very poorly equipped, and there’s a lot of dampness, enough to make things in the wardrobe feel wet. The bathroom door won’t shut, and its open window has no glass and looks into the living room, so everyone there can hear you using the toilet. There’s just one large street-facing window, and it leaks all over; evening noise could be a problem if you have a child. Wi-Fi doesn’t really work, and the elevator was out of order. It’s an okay place if you need somewhere cheap and expect very little. Things could be worse, but if comfort or privacy matters to you, you may want to stay elsewhere.

The rooms are spacious, but sadly there’s little natural light because most have no windows. The one window opens onto a small terrace among the rooftops, which the pigeons seem to love. Still, the originality and elegance of the place more than make up for that. It’s a period building in a central location, with its most interesting features preserved and the apartment furnished with great taste and refinement. Discovering Brindisi was a very pleasant surprise, and staying at the Luxury Greco made it all the more comfortable. It has a collection of pieces worthy of AD, and I think I’ll come back.

We were very happy with everything during our week in Brindisi. The balcony overlooks a palm-lined street and its bustle, which quiets down at night. The apartment was charming, spacious, and very nicely furnished. Luigi was extremely friendly and helpful, and he can arrange transport from Brindisi airport. Brindisi is also a great base for exploring beautiful Apulia. I highly recommend it.

The welcome from the lovely Host was TOP. The apartment is elegant and comfortable, and the location is excellent, right in the center.
