We weren't registered, and nobody asked for our ID when we arrived. We thought they'd ask the next day, but after the second night nobody had come by the property. The room smelled musty and damp, with clear signs of humidity. There were no mosquito nets, and mosquitoes kept us from sleeping well. The boiler beneath our window and the mini fridge in the room were both very noisy. The shower drained slowly, which was uncomfortable. Breakfast was included at a nearby café, but it was just a hot drink and a croissant. We had to pay extra for another coffee. Daily housekeeping wasn't included: the bed wasn't made, and nobody brought a toilet paper roll even though ours was already running out when we arrived.

For me, the only things going for this place are the location and a fairly reasonable price. I found it among the worst places I've stayed in recent years. The owner is misleading on Booking.com, saying the room is 70m² when it's actually only 10m². There's no window, which the description doesn't mention. The room is damp, the bathroom ceiling is covered in mold, and the shower cubicle is so cramped that washing comfortably is difficult. Breakfast is pastries and croissants with a very long expiry date, so they're probably heavily laced with chemicals. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

There's no reception or staff on site. The owner sends a code by WhatsApp, and you use it to open a small key box beside the main entrance. Wi-Fi was not great, with frequent dropouts. Breakfast is offered, but it's light and nothing special. The B&B is generally good quality, with clean rooms and comfortable bedding. It's in Brindisi's historic center, near many shops and restaurants, about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The airport is much farther: it took me 45 minutes to walk there, though buses run from the station.

We spent 7 days here with a child. The location was great, the service friendly, and everything was clean. Breakfast is basic and comes from a café, with the nearest one just around the corner. The cappuccino, ice cream and pastries were delicious. Good price and location, so I recommend it. Not for the faint of heart or anyone focused on prestige. Best regards.
