La piazzetta

It was just what I needed and exactly as advertised. The host was easy to reach, and the Port was an easy walk away.

The B&B was very clean and had everything needed for cooking. I slept comfortably, with a good bed and pillows, and there’s parking outside. Since it’s on the ground floor, bringing suitcases in was easy. Google Maps might make it look a little out of the way, but the center is only a 15-minute walk. I highly recommend it.

I spent one night in the Pera room at B&B La Piazzetta, and it was lovely and welcoming, with everything I could need. It overlooks a light well, so there was no noise. There’s even a kitchen with dishes and an induction stovetop if you want to eat in. Stefano was available from the very first contact. The location made it possible to give my mother a relaxed, carefree day before she was hospitalized. Highly recommended.

The apartment has been renovated and is clean and well maintained, with air conditioning, a TV, a roomy bathroom, and a good mattress. It’s essentially a studio with a bed and kitchenette. I did find two drawbacks: you can cook, but there are no pots or pans, just cutlery and plates for two. At least a frying pan and two saucepans would make sense. Also, the window looks onto a small, narrow courtyard. I’d recommend it because it’s well kept, though with my minor issues I’m a little hesitant.
