Ostello della Gioventù Brindisi

The outdoor seating area was lovely, with a long bench and exotic plants hanging over you. We really enjoyed staying at this charming hostel with our baby and found it very easygoing. Before we arrived, they walked us through pre-check-in on Whatsapp. The woman who checked us in was kind and helpful, and even made us a late-night Cappuccino, jumping behind the bar without hesitation. I didn't catch her name. Daniele, on the next morning shift, was also charming and friendly, and shared lots of local tips. We wanted to return, but the double room wasn't available. They recommended Villa Anna nearby and even made the booking for us there. I've worked in more than five hotels, and this was better service than I've seen before. I'll always recommend them and hope to come back.

The welcome was nice, and my room was clean with a really comfy bed. It was quiet and a good place to rest. I stayed in the women-only bedroom, where everyone had a closet, with the bathroom right next door. In the evening, I'd suggest walking down by the port. There are some fast-food places there too.

The staff were the most helpful I've ever had at a hostel, and they really knew their stuff. Everything else was great too: the place was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. There's a bar on-site for coffee, croissants, or sandwiches, plus vending machines. The beach and main train station are only a short bus ride away. If I'm in Brindisi again, I'll definitely come back. 10/10, thank you!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there's a little bistro inside for coffee or a glass of wine. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, less than 2 km from the airport, or a pleasant 25-minute walk. You can also rent a large towel for just 3 euros. I'd highly recommend it for a night or two.
