We stayed several days because it was so quiet and restful. The B&B has an old-fashioned charm, and the host was kind and put together a breakfast fit for a king. Our room had plenty of space and high ceilings, plus a lovely view through the 10-foot glass door that opened onto the balcony. The drive up is steep and can get narrow, so you'll need to be comfortable behind the wheel. Or take the funicolare from the lakeside and walk about 15 minutes uphill to the B&B. That little walk felt worth it.

This is an old, authentic place with a real sense of history. It's quiet and clean, and the view is wonderful, though it won't suit everyone. You'll need to be a brave driver to get there, but it's not far from the mountain peak 😀

The approach to this one-of-a-kind B&B is pretty extreme, but the scenery makes up for the tough location and road. The room was a decent size, the bed comfortable, and everything was clean. You have to stay here to feel its spirit.
