Nuvole Garden Hotel

The only thing I really enjoyed was the stunning view of Lake Como. I stayed two nights and paid about €600 per night, but the experience was very disappointing for that price. The hotel asked for a €1,000 deposit, which felt excessive given the quality of the stay. Our room was extremely dusty, and we kept sneezing. The air felt stale and poorly ventilated, so it was uncomfortable. Staff were slow to respond and unhelpful, and their attitude came across as unfriendly. The hotel also seemed badly understaffed. I saw only one or two staff members during the whole stay. After a 17-hour flight, I expected to rest comfortably, but it wasn’t worth what I paid.

The setting overlooking Lake Como is magical, and the view alone is worth the visit. The decor, finish, and location all make this feel like an exquisite five-star Hotel. Eleanore, I hope I’ve got her name right, was the front-of-house lady, and the service I received from her was exceptional. I can’t recommend this Hotel enough.

We had a lovely view from our cozy, beautifully decorated, and very clean room, and mornings felt special. Hotel Nuvole was perfectly located for our visit to Lake Como. The staff were welcoming and attentive, with helpful suggestions for things to see and do around Como. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of choice. It was a comfortable, charming stay with warm hospitality. We’d happily return and highly recommend Hotel Nuvole to anyone visiting Lake Como!
